SAUGUS — The Town of Saugus is alerting residents that work will begin on Monday, July 20, to collect information for the sewer subsystem 1D rehabilitation project planned for next spring.
Design work for the sewer subsystem 1D rehabilitation project is scheduled to start on July 20. This work will include but not be limited to the following streets: Lincoln Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Birch Street, as well as on Hazel Street, Hillside Avenue, Sunnyside Avenue, Lewis Lane, Sunnyside Park, Morton Avenue, Sim Road, Summit Avenue, Beacham Avenue, Bayview Road, Ruby Road, and Basswood Avenue.
The work will involve opening manholes and televising sewer lines so data can be collected for the rehabilitation of sewer subsystem 1D in 2027.
This design work for the sewer subsystem 1D rehabilitation project will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday through Friday. The work is expected to take two weeks to complete. Police details and detours will be used as necessary.
