Paul Joseph Barresi, a 17-and-over male of Heritage Lane, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. Thursday for charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

A report of a disturbance at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Blacksmith Way. Caller reported a juvenile in a white shirt going door-to-door and swearing at residents. Area search negative. 

Identity Fraud

A report of identity fraud at 7:02 p.m. Thursday on Lewis O Gray Drive. A man walked into the station with his daughter to report possible fraud by his other daughter. 

Larceny

A report of a larceny at 1:22 p.m. Thursday on Main Street. A man walked into the station and reported that a cell phone he had ordered from Amazon was missing from the package when he signed for it. Report taken. 

Lost Property

A report of lost property at 5:05 p.m. at Walmart on Broadway. Caller reported she had lost her phone and believed it may have been stolen. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 1:09 p.m. Thursday at Burger King on Broadway. Report taken; a report at 5:52 p.m. on Lynn Fells Parkway at Broadway. Caller reported she was involved in a minor accident and needed assistance getting the paperwork exchanged. Referred to other agency; a report at 9:03 p.m. on Walnut Street. Caller reported he was rear-ended in a bad location and needed assistance exchanging paperwork. Services rendered; a report at 10:50 p.m. on Heritage Lane. Caller reported a vehicle had crashed into his parked vehicle, and he believed the operator was intoxicated. Arrest of a 17-and-over male.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 6:44 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church on Summer Street. Caller reported a suspicious red motor vehicle in the rear parking lot. The operator was with a tree company, getting ready for the day. Investigated; a report at 11:50 a.m. at Jiffy Mart Inc on Howard Street. A man walked into the station earlier and reported that a party had been parking on their property. He was advised to call if they returned and could be identified and trespassed. Services rendered; a report at 9:54 p.m. at Sears on Broadway. No police service necessary; a report at 9:59 p.m. at Sears on Broadway. Citation issued. 

Noise Complaint

A report of a noise complaint at 10:01 p.m. Thursday at Evans Park on Central Street. Peace restored.  

Road Rage

A report of road rage at 1:44 p.m. Thursday on Ballard Street. A witness reported an accident with road rage. She stated that she was turning into her driveway when an accident happened. She said the parties are physically fighting and shouting. Report taken.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 8:27 p.m. Thursday at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Broadway. Caller reported two female shoplifters. Report taken. 

Sound of Gunshots

A report of the sound of gunshots at 8:43 p.m. Thursday on Palmetto Street. Caller reported the sound of gunshots. She said it was six or seven loud pops. Investigated, nothing found. 

Threats

A report of a threat at 8:03 p.m. Thursday on Jackson Street. Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend is repeatedly calling her and making threats over text message to harm her. An officer spoke to the girlfriend, who stated she would no longer be texting her. Services rendered. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the Red Roof Inn on Broadway. A staff member reported that there was a guest who had been there for seven days. She stated the room is messy, and there was human excrement in the room. The man is in a wheelchair and may need medical aid. Removed to hospital.
