Assisting Citizen

A report of assisting a citizen at 12:56 p.m. Monday at Walmart on Broadway. A customer reported he was handed a fake $100 bill, and the clerk refused to exchange it. Officers reported the money was refunded, and a report was written for counterfeit money. Report taken. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 8:16 p.m. at Red Roof Inn on Broadway. Caller reported a disturbance. Peace restored; a report at 11:52 p.m. at Wood Spring Extended Stay on Broadway.. Services rendered.  

Lost Property

A report of lost property at 1:28 p.m. Monday on Bridge Street. A man went into the station and reported that his wallet was lost in New York while he had gone on vacation over the weekend. He was advised that if the item was shipped back, he would be contacted.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:24 a.m. Monday on Forest Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle that appeared to be unoccupied and parked for 10 minutes, blocking the entrance to Breakheart. The vehicle was gone on arrival. Area search negative.

Property Damage

A report of property damage at 12:59 p.m. Monday on Walnut Street. Caller reporte a vehicle had struck their mailbox and fled the scene. Wakefield police were notified. Services rendered. 

Trespassing

A report of trespassing at 6:02 p.m. Monday at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway. Caller reported that a male previously trespassed in the store was there. Report taken.
