Hood Elementary School Principal Jessica Ekhomu is this month’s guest on “A Super Conversation” with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Molly Cohen.
“A Super Conversation” is a podcast hosted by Cohen that highlights key stakeholders in Lynn Public Schools. Previous guests have included Mayor Jared C. Nicholson, Lynn English student Ghafour Diallo, and Lynn Classical teacher Christine Lander.
Ekhomu, who is in her fifth year at Hood, started as a teacher in 2010 in the most high-needs turnaround school in Boston as a member of the Teach for America organization. She attained her second masters degree, in education, from Boston University, after earning degrees in criminal justice and public health from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
