Reports of found/lost property at 7:35 a.m. Thursday on Harris Street, 7:39 a.m. on Wyman Road, 9:04 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue and Wyman Road, 11:45 a.m. on Cloutmans Lane, and 12:19 p.m. on Mugford Street and Market Square.

General Complaints

Reports of general complaints at 1:19 a.m. Thursday on Nicholson Street and Essex Street, 9:45 a.m. on Jersey Street, and 12:09 p.m. on Girdler Road.

A report of vandalism at 11:21 a.m. on Green Street. 

SAUGUS

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 3:49 a.m. Thursday at Sullivan Tire & Auto Service on Broadway. Building appears to be secure. 

Animal Complaints

A report of an animal complaint at 12:18 p.m. Thursday on Walnut Street. A caller reported that there were two loose huskies in her yard. Returned to home or family; a report at 4:35 p.m. at J. Paces and Sons on Main Street. A caller reported that there was a dog that was left in the car with the top open. The dog was lying on the gas and brake pedal. She stated the dog was there for an hour. Services rendered.  

Assault/A & B

A report of assault/assualt and battery at 8:35 p.m. at Salem Five on Broadway. A caller reported a woman was punched in the face by a man. Peace restored. 

Harassment 

A walk-in report of harassment at 3:05 p.m. on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station and reported ongoing harassment. Advised civil action; a report at 3:59 p.m. on Summer Street. A caller reported that her neighbor was harassing her and following her. Investigated. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor-vehicle accident at 10:32 a.m. Thursday at Dunkin’ on Broadway. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. Report taken; a report at 1:23 p.m. at Istanbul Diner on Broadway. A caller reported that she had been shaken up from a previous accident when she called. No police service necessary. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 2:19 p.m. Thursday at Walgreens on Broadway. Investigated.  

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 4:43 p.m. Thursday at AT&T on Broadway. Security reported that there was a group of four juveniles who had tried to break into the Sears previously, and he wanted them trespassed. Investigated; a report at 7:16 p.m. on Summer Drive. A caller reported a male riding a hoverboard into people’s driveways and looking at people’s mail. Investigated.  

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 10:42 a.m. Thursday at Stop and Shop on Main Street. Peace restored.
