Girls Inc joins the Nahant Woman's Club of the North Shore

The Nahant Woman’s Club of the North Shore will host about 130 girls from Girls Inc. on Friday at its annual beach party and cookout at the Life Saving Station in Nahant. Now in its 15th year, the event continues to grow in popularity. With donations from local merchants, lunch and dessert will be served to every guest.

For 131 years, the Nahant Woman’s Club of the North Shore has worked to channel the power of women in our community to help others. The Nahant Woman’s Club of the North Shore is dedicated to fostering women’s efforts and works together with local service providers to help build stronger communities on the Boston North Shore. Our efforts to meet these goals are varied.

During past years, the Nahant Woman’s Club of the North Shore provided college scholarships to three deserving students, gave backpacks to children in Lynn and Nahant, provided money for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, supported North Shore Community College Stop Hunger on Campus and The Haven Project.
