MARBLEHEAD — Make it 36 years Demakes Enterprises has hosted its annual charity golf tournament. This year’s event was held Monday at Tedesco Country Club as the family-owned company fundraised more than $210,000 for St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn.
Funds will support community programs, annual scholarships, local education, and more.
“Our family has deep roots in St. George Church and the Lynn and Greek communities,” said CEO Andrew Demakes. “For more than 30 years, we’ve been proud to support St. George’s efforts to give back and make a lasting impact in Lynn. We’re honored to continue supporting such an important cause.”
Monday’s activities also included driving range and putting practice, a free raffle, as well as lunch and dinner buffets.
Demakes Enterprises is the parent company of Demakes Bros., Old Neighborhood Foods, Waterhill Organics, and Thin N’ Trim.
