LTTE: Ban the use of motorized vehicles from our Lynn Shore Drive walkway

To the editor:

I think it is high time that the proper authorities zero in on a very serious and dangerous condition affecting the Swampscott and Lynn Shore Drive walkway. The use of any electric or motorized vehicle needs to be prohibited from using this boardwalk as a personal race track. I have been experiencing all too many close calls while walking along the ocean. We all know it is an accident waiting to happen. When is someone going to be seriously injured because of the unwillingness to properly enforce a law keeping these scooters and bikes off this pathway? It is only common sense. I do not want to get run down. Do you?
