LYNN — As the collaborative applicant for the Lynn Continuum of Care (LCoC), the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND) will host the LCoC’s annual meeting on June 18 at 1 p.m. at the LHAND Community Room, 10 Church St., Lynn. The Lynn Continuum of Care is a coalition of individuals and organizations in the City of Lynn working as a collaborative team to end homelessness and to connect individuals and families, including unaccompanied youth, with mainstream resources, allowing them to move into and maintain stable, permanent housing.
The annual meeting will include the presentation of the 2026 LCoC Scholarship and the election of the 2026 board of directors. In addition, the CoC will present the Beacon of Hope Award to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary service and dedication to those who are homeless and impoverished in our community. For the first time, the LCoC will present the Community Giveback Champion Award to a
business that demonstrates outstanding social responsibility, community engagement, and a lasting positive impact, exemplifying what it means to be a true community partner.
The LCoC welcomes any individual or organization with an interest in understanding and addressing the issues related to homelessness, and a desire to participate in the city’s coordinated plan to end homelessness. For more information, visit lhand.org/about/coc/.
