Touch A Truck Fundraiser to Bbenefit Class of 2028


SWAMPSCOTT — Residents will have the chance to explore emergency vehicles, meet local first responders, and support two community causes during a “Touch A Truck” fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, May 16, at Swampscott High School.

The event, organized by the Swampscott High School Class of 2028, will run from 8 a.m. to noon and feature a variety of trucks and emergency vehicles, including police, fire, and ambulance vehicles. Attendees will be able to interact with vehicle operators and learn more about the equipment used by local departments.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Class of 2028 as well as Sora, the Swampscott Police Department’s comfort dog.

Admission is $5 per person, with a maximum cost of $20 per family. Organizers ask that parents accompany their children during the event.

The fundraiser will take place at Swampscott High School, located at 200 Essex St.
