Monday night, at around 7:53 p.m., Lynn Police responded to a report about a stabbing on 120 Liberty Street.
“Officers located a 37-year-old male victim suffering from serious stab wounds,” according to a press release sent out by the City of Lynn Police Department.
The responding officers provided life-saving care, which included the use of multiple tourniquets. The man was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital via a Medflight and is expected to survive his injuries.
The release said that the incident was connected to an altercation that happened outside 100 Willow Street. 54-year-old Alejandro Esteban of Lynn was arrested and charged with armed assault to murder.
The Department acknowledged the life-saving actions of the First Division officers who responded to the call and the work from Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Division and Massachusetts State Police.
