The Rams (10-1) officially clinched a berth in the postseason with a 3-0 win over Revere. Classical won in straight sets 25-20, 25-12, 25-18.
Performing well for the Rams was junior Brooke Braswell who recorded nine kills, four aces, and five digs. Emma Chevalier provided 22 assists, four digs, two kills, and two aces. Senior Amanda Hughes registered nine kills, eight digs, and three aces.
The Rams are back in action on Wednesday when they host Winchester who are 10-2 and are the 20th-ranked team in Division 1. The match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Georgetown 0
Swampscott earned a big win over Georgetown on Monday evening. The Big Blue won in straight sets (25-18, 25-10, 25-18) to bolster its record.
Playing well for Swampscott was Yanielis Pizarro senior with 10 kills while junior captain Lauren Paul finished the game with seven kills and three aces.

Masconomet 4
Peabody 2
The Tanners got themselves in trouble in the first half going down 4-1. Peabody was able to score a second goal in the second half but it wasn’t enough to overcome the three-goal first-half deficit.
Owen Brennan and Daniel De Andrade were the scorers for Peabody. Kacper Kowalczyk and Marc Smith provided an assist in the loss.
GIRLS SOCCER
Lynn Classical 1
Shawsheen Tech 0
Lynn Classical got a much-needed rebounded goal from McKenna Duncan to beat Shawsheen Tech 1-0 at Manning Field on Monday evening. The ball was fired in by Mea Papazoglou before falling to the feet of Duncan who shot it past the Shawsheen goalie.
On the defensive side, first-year goalie Maegan Baker registered 11 saves to earn the shutout and help Lynn Classical win.
The Rams are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Chelsea for a 5:45 p.m. match.
St. Mary’s 4
Arlington Catholic 1
The Spartans (5-3-1) started the week on a high note beating Arlington Catholic by three goals. Cam Dunn was pulling all the strings finding space for her teammates to run into. Dunn finished the game with two assists.
St. Mary’s got goals from Sophie Skabeikis, Georgia Allaire, Brooke Moloney, and Andrea Basta.
Masconomet 5
Peabody 0
The Chieftains remain undefeated as they move to 10-0 on the season. One of the top teams in New England showed its quality in the shutout win.
Connie Patturelli was one of the standouts for Peabody despite the loss as head coach Andrew Douglass said Patturelli “played well in the midfield for us defensively.”
Douglass praised goalie Alessandra Forgione for her effort in net saying she was “solid” in net.
Swampscott 3
Malden Catholic 0
Led by a brace from Lyla Rogers the Big Blue earned a victory over the Golden Tornados. Fiona Keaney was quite the playmaker providing two assists. Greta Siefken also got on the scoresheet in the win.
In net, Eve Byrne played the majority of the game and Easter Cunningham closed out the game to preserve the clean sheet.
Saugus 7
Winthrop 0
The Sachems went on the road and shipped seven goals past the Vikings. Madison Botta showed up finishing with three goals and two assists.
Natalie Justice scored a brace while Shalyn Sewell scored a goal and added an assist. Senior Danica Schena scored her first goal of the season to add to the dominant victory.
FIELD HOCKEY
St. Mary’s 2
North Andover 0
St. Mary’s held North Andover to a shutout in its win on Monday thanks to shot-stopper Tabby Lopes. Goals from Ava Korisianos and Cassidy Cheney were the difference.
The Spartans improved to an impressive 8-2-1 on the year.

The Big Blue went into Peabody’s territory and got the victory at the Meadow Golf Course. Peabody’s winners came from the one, two, and seven spots.
Tristan Joyce won his match 6-3 for the Tanners, with Mason Clickstein (5-4), and Jason Houlden (7-2) all picking up the wins for Peabody (3-8).
For Swampscott, Mike Collins, Jack Smyth, Luke McGonagle, Joseph Dalelio, and Sam Moscoso were the match winners.
St. Mary’s 184
Bishop Fenwick 142
In a match between two rivals, it was the Spartans who earned bragging rights over the Crusaders.
St. Mary’s was led by 35 points from Stephen Nason, Micah Hashikawa (30) and Shea Newhall (28) were right behind to help the Spartans improve to 8-4.
With the win, St. Mary’s needs one more victory to qualify for sectionals.
