Lynn English quarterback Jaiden Rosario was a man on a mission at Manning Field, throwing for 208 yards and four touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 35-0 win against Somerville.

Rosario, who completed 9-of-19 passes, threw two touchdowns to Limbert Thomas (3 receptions, 111 yards) and one each to Jason McDonald (reception, 18 yards) and Jordan Em (2 receptions, 62 yards). Zimari Omosefe and Shane Knowlton-Simard (2-point conversion) got involved in the passing game as well.

Jordan Hernandez plowed his way through Somerville’s defense for a rushing touchdown, while Xavier Beauchamp carried twice for 15 yards.

Coach Tyllor McDonald and his Bulldogs (6-2), as of Friday morning’s MIAA power rankings, ranked No. 17 in Division 3.

Jacob Garcia (2 TD), quarterback Jadiel Ortega, Colin McGough, and Eddie Lewis all went home with touchdowns, and Lynn Tech left enemy territory with a 27-6 win.

“It was a big win. I’m very proud of my defense,” said Tech coach James Runner, whose Tigers host Nashoba at 5 p.m. next Friday. “And we gave up that last one with some younger guys in the game.”

Danvers’ Owen Shanbar returned a kickoff 99 yards for a go-ahead touchdown with around 90 seconds remaining at Coley Lee Field. Peabody had a chance to win it late, but threw an interception in the endzone to seal a Falcons’ victory.

The Tanners, who came all the way back from a 21-point deficit, took a late lead after a Tyler Rappold touchdown. Quarterback Luke Maglione went home with a rushing touchdown, while Caio Santos ran one in from 2 yards out in the first half.

You could say it feels like ages since Marblehead was 0-2. The Magicians (5-2) kept the train rolling on Friday with a 21-7 victory against Masconomet (6-2). Marblehead – which went home with three interceptions – received touchdowns from Crew Monaco (from Colt Wales), Rylan Golden (from Finn Gallup), and Yandel Garcia.

The visiting Crusaders – who stormed back after a sluggish first half – scored all of their points in the second half to stun Cathedral. Fenwick’s Shane Conroy caught two touchdown passes from Brayden Clifford, who also found the endzone with his legs.

No home-field advantage, no problem for the Pioneers, who stormed away with a 28-6 win against Manchester-Essex. Lynnfield hosts Hamilton-Wenham at 6:30 p.m. next Friday to wrap up the regular season.

This one was knotted, 2-2, with 20 minutes remaining, but Chelsea slotted two more goals on its home turf. Abbie Deleon and Edison Chacon scored for the Rams, who were without two key defenders in the second half due to injury.

KIPP fell short in enemy territory, ending its seven-game winning streak. Cristian Garcia, Jelder DeLeon, Jossue Giron, and Josue DeLeon played strong games, according to coach Josh Canales.

“But they kept on fighting,” Canales said. “We have our next game Tuesday against Minuteman and then we prepare for states where, hopefully, we get a bye and a home game for being top-15 in the state.”

For fans of stellar defense, this one was for you. In Cape Ann League action, Lynnfield and host Pentucket fought to a hard-fought draw. Lynnfield coach Kerri Doherty credited Gia Marotta and Lauren Mattia in the midfield, as well as Lily Alves, Hayden Valiton, and Chloe Gromko on the defensive end.

“Goalkeeper Lauren MacDonald had a solid day, picking up 12 saves in net – including a big save on a stroke in the fourth quarter to keep the game scoreless,” Doherty said.
