Renee Leavitt will play on Aug. 8 at 1 Main St. in Peabody

PEABODY — Renee Leavitt, a country singer from Peabody who recently performed the national anthem at Fenway Park prior to a Red Sox-Blue Jays game, will be doing a show Thursday night at 1 Main St.

Leavitt will perform with three members of her band, the Renegades, including Peabody’s Jack Pardee, internationally known fingerstyle guitarist Jason Ji, and up-and-coming drummer Liam Jewer, of Peabody.

Leavitt is scheduled to perform at the Grand Ole Opry later this year. She has a double master’s in religion and theology.

Showtime is 8 p.m. on Aug. 8.
