A report at 6:27 p.m. Wednesday of an accident with personal imjury on Lynnfield Street at Lookout Terrace. Report taken.

A report of larceny/forgery/fraud Thursday at 1:24 p.m. on Homestead Road. Services rendered.

 

PEABODY

Arrest

Joseph Stubbs, 76, 23 Suffolk Ave. Apt. 2, Swampscott was arrested Thursday on Lake Shore Drive and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a class B drug subsequent offense, equipment violations, failure to stop/yield and possession of a class E drug.

Suspicious activity

A report at 2:01 a.m. Thursday from a caller at Mobile Estates, 286 Newbury St. who said she woke up to someone at her front doot. Officers checked the area and found nothing.

Animal control

A dog found in the area of Ellsworth Road was brought into the station Thursday at 12:55 p.m. The owner of the dog was notified by voicemail and the dog was returned to the owner.

Assist citizen

A caller at 9 Pinewood Road reported Thursday there is rumbling under her house and she is afraid there is an issue with the gas line. The rumble was from a blast at a quarry.

SAUGUS

Disturbance
A report of a disturbance at 2:01 p.m. Thursday on Pearl Road. Caller reports a male has attacked a landscaper in the neighborhood. The caller reports the suspect had a knife. The male was arrested by reporting officers.

Motor Vehicles
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 2:01 a.m. Thursday at Eastern Bank on 605 Broadway. Officer reports checking on a suspicious vehicle; the vehicle checks out. Investigated.
A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:31 a.m. Thursday near 117 Broadway. Caller reports a two-car MVA. Nobody was injured, but one vehicle was not drivable. Report taken.

Shoplifting
A report of shoplifting at 11:24 a.m. Thursday at Dick’s Sporting Goods on 1201 Broadway. Store reports two young shoplifters seen on video. Report taken.

Suspicious Activity
A report of suspicious activity at 9:04 a.m. Thursday at Avalon Bay Communities. The manager called to request an officer to take a report of the activity. An unknown male made unauthorized entry to buildings. Report taken.
