Javon Huston, 35, of Danvers, was arrested for a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise after asset protection made a report at 5:04 p.m. Sunday on Howley Street that they attempted to detain a shoplifter who then ran back into the store to evade detainment.

A summons was issued to Nikitalynne Butler, 36, of Erving, for charges of operation of an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle, registration not in possession, and attaching plates, after a report of a motor vehicle accident at 12:25 p.m. Sunday on Taylor Street .

A report of a disturbance was made at 12:56 a.m. Sunday on Shillaber Street; at 7:21 a.m. on Silverleaf Way; at 4:50 p.m. on Central Street; at 10 p.m. on Essex Center Drive.
