Arrests

Adam Gray, 29, of Whiting Street, was arrested on a charge of drug possession Class B at 11:07 a.m. Monday.

Daniel Rivera-Rosario, 54, of Laighton Street, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering daytime, unarmed robbery, assault and battery, possession of a burglarious instrument, threat to commit a crime, breaking and entering nighttime and larceny under $1,200 at 10:10 a.m. Monday.

Reginald Williams, 48, of Ramsdell Place, was arrested on a charge of trespassing at 2:03 a.m. Monday.

Accidents

A walk-in reported his vehicle had been damaged while he was away on vacation at 5:57 p.m. Monday at 1005 Rockwood Drive. 

A caller reported his vehicle was struck by another that fled the scene without exchanging paperwork at 6:27 p.m. Monday at Applebees Restaurant, 214 Broadway. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 6:30 p.m. Monday at York Ford Collision Center, 1497 Broadway. 

Complaint

A caller reported a noise complaint stemming from her neighbor working on her moped at 12:14 a.m. Tuesday at 11 First St. She stated it had been an ongoing issue. Dispatched officers spoke to the resident and notified him of the bylaw. 

Suspicious

Loss prevention reported a female shoplifter at 2:45 p.m. Monday at Dicks Sporting Goods, 1201 Broadway. The woman said she had not stolen anything that day. Loss prevention believe she had in the past.

An officer reported dirt bikes riding on the track at the Belmonte STEAM Academy at 5:27 p.m. Monday at 29 Dow St. Dispatched officers reported the dirt bikes were left on the rail trail towards Route 1 and were no longer in Saugus. 

Theft

A report of a larceny of an employee’s wallet from the employee lounge at 4:53 p.m. Monday at Square One Mall, 1277 Broadway. A dispatched officer reported an area check was negative, but later, at 5:11 p.m. reported the suspect may still be on scene, after a $1,500 purchase was made at Gamestop.
