PEABODY — The City of Peabody will host its annual Summer Concert and Fireworks Spectacular on Sunday at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. The celebration begins at 6 p.m., and both admission and parking are free for all attendees.

This year’s event will feature a brilliant fireworks display in honor of America’s 250th birthday, offering residents and visitors a memorable tribute to the nation’s milestone anniversary. Adding to the festivities, the city will welcome legendary North Shore dance band The Lisa Love Experience, which will perform live throughout the evening.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and enjoy the designated picnic areas. Bleacher seating will also be available. Food vendors will be on site, though attendees are reminded that food and drinks are not permitted on the turf field.

To support older residents, free shuttle service will be provided from the Torigian Senior Center beginning at 4:45 p.m. Shuttles will run continuously throughout the evening, with return trips available after the fireworks finale.

“We look forward to welcoming families, friends, and neighbors for one of Peabody’s great summer traditions,” Mayor Ted Bettencourt said. “This year’s event will be especially meaningful as we commemorate America’s 250th birthday with a dazzling fireworks show and outstanding live entertainment.”
