PEABODY — Resident Cesko Gjinaj won a $5 million prize from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” instant ticket game, the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission announced.

He received a one-time payment of $3,250,000 before taxes, after choosing the cash option on his prize. He said he plans on investing his winnings in either a business or property, according to the Commission.

Gjinaj bought his ticket at From Brazil Restaurant, located at 72 Walnut St. in Peabody. The store will receive $50,000 as a bonus for its sale of the ticket.
