Peabody man arrested on charges of crimes against minors

PEABODY — Phillip Cassie Jr., 21, of Peabody, was arrested Thursday on two counts each of showing obscene materials to minors and obscene communications with minors, in addition to a charge of threatening to commit indecent assault and battery on a person under the age of 14 in Milford.

The Milford and Peabody police departments worked together to serve the warrant, and Cassie was transported back to Milford after his arrest.

Further details of Cassie’s arrest have yet to be released.
