To the editor:
By virtually all accounts, the November election is going to be a close one. So, no matter what side of the fence you are on, the message is the same: Vote! This applies not just this year, but every year for national, state, and local elections. Speaking of local elections, next spring when you see candidates holding signs at the Transfer Station or farmers market, don’t just wave. Instead, stop for a few minutes, introduce yourself, and ask some tough questions. Challenge the candidates. Ask for a contact phone number or email. Make your opinion clear.
