To the editor:
As a Pine Hill resident and a friend of Sean Reid for more than 10 years, I strongly support his candidacy for state representative for West Lynn and Nahant.
As a teacher in Lynn, I have seen Sean consistently advocate for our children, families, and educators, even when it was not the convenient road to take. He will bring this passion to a larger platform as state representative. Being married to a Lynn teacher, Sean understands that we need state support to build new schools, reduce overcrowding, and address staffing shortages.
Sean’s experience as legislative director for state Sen. Brendan Crighton gives him valuable knowledge in housing, transportation, and environmental issues. It’s rare to find a candidate with such relevant experience.
Sean is also great at connecting with people in the community and understanding their struggles. His own experiences, including facing homelessness, fuel his empathy. These traits are essential for effective leadership.
I encourage my fellow residents to support Sean Reid in the Sept. 3 election. Reach out to him directly to see why he is the best choice for our community.
Sincerely,
Julia Kennedy Capano
