E. F. Gilmore DAV to hold veterans beach party


LYNN — The E. F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans Chapter 64, of the North Shore, is holding its fourth annual Beach Party for Veterans, their families, and the community.

This special event, partially funded by the Better Beach Program and the Essex County Community Foundation will be held at Red Rock Park in Lynn and promises to be a wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate veterans while enjoying a day of fun and relaxation. The event will be on Saturday, July 25, with a rain date of Sunday, July 26. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

The beach party will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including food and drinks, games, live music, and much more. Alarge turnout of veterans, their families, and community members is expected. Additionally, there will be vendors and other resources that are of interest to veterans. This is a family-friendly event.
