LYNN — The Lynn Swampscott Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 64 is holding its second annual beach party for veterans, their families, and the community.

This special event, partially funded by the Better Beach Program, will be held at Red Rock Park and promises to be a wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate veterans while enjoying a day of fun and relaxation.

The event will be on Saturday, July 27 with a rain date of Sunday, July 28. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

The beach party will feature a variety of activities, including food and drinks, games, live music, and much more. A large turnout of veterans, their families, and community members is expected. In addition, the plan is to have vendors and other resources that are of interest for veterans.

Veterans or others interested in attending should RSVP by contacting Jeffrey Blonder, commander of the E. F. Gilmore DAV, at 617-967-6892.
