A look at upcoming children’s programs at the Abbot Public Library

MARBLEHEAD — Learn about bees and aerodynamics during the upcoming children’s programs at the Abbot Public Library.

Buzz About Bees Story Time and Craft with Summer Genovese will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Event Center, Abbot Public Library.

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to listen to stories about bees and how they help humans. A bee craft will be offered after the story time. Online registration is required please register at tinyurl.com/Abbot-Bee-Storytime.

Adventures in Aviation with Ed the Wizard will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Courtyard, Abbot Public Library.

Kids ages 7 and older are invited to build their own glider while learning about basic aerodynamics and the forces that affect flight and flight control with Ed the Wizard. We will then test our piloting skills with loops, banks, and level flight paths. Online registration is required please register at tinyurl.com/Ed-Wizard.
