Saugus police responded to a call for shots fired outside the Buffalo Wild Wings adjacent to Square One Mall Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
State Police responded to the area to aid Saugus Police at 4:05 p.m., and no victims were located at the scene, David Procopio, a spokesman for State Police, said. However, ballistics evidence was recovered, and a witness reported hearing a gunshot.
Saugus police did not have any suspects in custody as of 7 p.m., a spokesperson for the department said.
