Arrests

Ledesma Argueta Merida, 24, of Boston Street, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle at 12:10 p.m. Saturday. 

Edgar Argueta-Merida, 31, of Fleming Avenue, Andover, was arrested on a warrant and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and missing a registration sticker at 3:18 p.m. Saturday. 

Maurice Bennett, 27, of Rantoul Avenue, was arrested and charged with causing willful malicious wanton damage at 8:40 p.m. Friday. 

Elezar Guzman Gabriel, 23, of Hamilton Avenue, was arrested on a warrant and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation at 9:24 a.m. Sunday. 

Dyan Mejia, 20, of Winston Street, Saugus, was arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds, violating the city knife ordinance, trespassing, and disorderly conduct at 3:18 p.m. Friday. 

Edgar Perez, 31, of School Street, Everett, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 8:40 p.m. Saturday. 

Richard Salsgiver, 48, of Harbor Street, Salem, was arrested on a warrant and charged with larceny over $1,200 at 1:07 p.m. Friday. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Franklin and North Common streets; at 3:44 a.m. at Boston and Myrtle streets; 

Assaults

A report of an assault at 7:44 p.m. Saturday at 75 Franklin St.

A report of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 9:52 p.m. Saturday at 421 Essex St.

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 2:37 a.m. Saturday at 10 Wilson Terrace; at 8:21 p.m. Saturday at Linton Road.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 5:27 p.m. Saturday on Joyce Street.

Suspicious

A report of suspicious activity at 2:17 a.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston St.; at 5:16 p.m. Saturday at 34 Meadow Court; at 6:55 p.m. Saturday at 551 Essex St.; at 6:58 p.m. Saturday at 15 Huss Court; at 10:08 p.m. Saturday on Strawberry Place.
