Lappin Foundation invites the community to our International Holocaust Remembrance Day Commemoration on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. ET on Zoom. Holocaust survivor Werner Salinger will give his testimony of escaping Nazi Germany as a child, his early recollections of the time he spent with Albert Einstein, and a decision that took him back to Germany where he met his wife, the daughter of a Nazi soldier.
“The reason we do this every year, especially with every passing year, is that soon there will be no survivors alive to bear witness to the Holocaust,” Lappin Foundation Executive Director and President Debbie Coltin said. “Testimony firsthand from any of them at this stage in history is truly precious.”
The program is free and everyone is welcome. Register for the Zoom link at LappinFoundation.org. For more information, please contact Sharon Wyner at 978-565-4450 or email [email protected].
