Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 6:45 p.m. Monday at Saugus Rehabilitation and Nursing on Lincoln Avenue. Caller was unhappy with staff and asked if he was allowed to make a citizen’s arrest. Services rendered.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:44 p.m. Monday on Essex Street. Caller reported a head on collision with personal injury and two vehicles involved. Removed to hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 2:34 p.m. Monday on Broadway. Verbal warning; a report at 8:40 p.m. on Essex Street. Verbal warning.  

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 4:54 a.m. Monday on Forest Lane. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle lurking in the area. Investigated, nothing found.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 2:24 p.m. Monday at Best Buy on Broadway. An employee reported a past shoplifting. Investigated. 

Suspicious Activities

A report of suspicious activity at 8:56 a.m. Monday on Denver Street. Caller reported that there was a tent that was in the clearing near the baseball field in the clearing. He stated it appeared a few days ago and appeared that someone was adding to it. Investigated; a report at 4:36 p.m. at Saugus Rehabilitation and Nursing on Lincoln Avenue. Caller reported staff was stealing his money and forged his signature. There was no indication of anything criminal at this time. Services rendered; a report at 5:45 p.m. at Irontown Diner on Main Street. Caller reported that she had seen an older male drinking who kept entering and exiting. The man showed no signs of impairment and was being picked up.

Threats

A report of threats at 11:33 a.m. Monday at Red Roof Inn on Broadway. Caller reported that there was an intoxicated male threatening him and a housekeeper in the hallway. Investigated. 

Unwanted Parties

A report of an unwanted party at 5:16 a.m. Monday at Planet Fitness on Broadway. Caller was a staff member requesting assistance with a trespassing of an unwanted party. Services rendered; a report at 2:27 p.m. at Pay More on Broadway. Caller reported an angry customer was refusing to leave the premises. Services rendered.
