Behind a four-goal, one-assist showing from Cecilia Tripp, the No. 19 Swampscott girls lacrosse team escaped No. 14 North Reading, 9-8, in the Div. 3 Round of 32.
In enemy territory, Swampscott’s Bridget Urbano scored twice to go with two assists, joined offensively by Fiona Keaney (assist), Quinn Kelleher (goal), Victoria Pierro (goal), and Reagan Pelletier (goal). Lilah Caplan (7 saves) stood strong between the pipes.
The Big Blue (14-4) will battle No. 3 Nashoba (16-4) in the Round of 16 (TBD).

North Attleborough put up a fight, but in the end, Marblehead (18-2) avoided a Round-of-32 scare (Div. 2). TJ Kelly won his singles match, while the doubles teams of Adam Loughlin/Alex Boehning and Cordt Menzler/Filip Wabno took care of business.
