SAUGUS — Raising Cane’s 799 Broadway location has started construction, and its new sign has been placed above the Nickole Auto Body sign.
The restaurant will join a handful of other Raising Cane’s opening or having opened in Massachusetts this year.
The first Cane’s Massachusetts location opened in 2009 on the Boston University campus. However, the second location, in Marlborough, didn’t open until 2023. 2024 saw an explosion of Raising Cane’s throughout the state.
Cane’s Golden Restaurant, celebrating the company’s golden birthday and 828th location, opened on Aug. 28 in Boston. The building is decked out in gold from top to bottom, making it unique compared to the other locations.
The latest location was Medford, which opened in late October after the company pushed the date back multiple times.
The Saugus location has also had multiple opening dates that it has had to postpone, but according to their website, the restaurant will officially open on Feb. 25, 2025.
