LTTE: Democrats’ policies paved the way for Trump

Dear Democrats,

You elected Trump.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Trump was the reaction to extreme progressive policies. From putting men into women’s sports, to allowing public spaces to become overrun with homeless encampments, and putting people who have never paid a tax dollar in their lives into state-subsidized apartments—all while most young Americans can’t afford to buy their first homes. Massachusetts will spend $1 billion on housing, clothing, and feeding migrants in 2024. Meanwhile, schoolteachers in inner cities have been buying their own construction paper and colored pencils for years due to a lack of funding.

With positions like these, what did you think was going to happen? Shame on the Democratic Party for alienating their traditional working-class base by allowing these ideas to gain traction. You put Trump into office. You are now paying the price. If you cannot see that, then you are lost. Progressivism, as we know it today, is a cancer. Do the country a favor, make an appointment with a surgeon, and have the tumor removed before you succumb to it. Come back to the center. America needs you.
