READING — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported a highway closure on Tuesday through its account, @MassDOT, on the social-media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
At 3:39 p.m. on Tuesday, the account posted that I-95 North was closed at Exit 56 “due to a vehicle fire” in Reading.
At 4:01 p.m., the account posted that the left lane on the highway had reopened.
Facebook users in the Lynnfield area reported there had been a buildup of traffic.
