Arrests 

Michael Powers, 71, of South Common Street, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery on a disabled person older than 60 on Monday. 

Larry Murray, 61, of Buffum Street, was arrested on two straight warrants on Monday. 

Isiah Gonzalez, 28, of Euclid Avenue was arrested on two straight warrants on Monday. 

Summons

Adam Carroccino was served a warrant for larceny by check under $1,200. 

Richelle Ellen, of Union Street, was served warrants for breaking and entering nighttime for Felony, using a motor vehicle without authority, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. 

Bernardino Folestal-Ogando, of Friend Street, was served warrants for assault and battery on a 60+ disabled person, and lewd, wanton, and lascivious conditions.

Arrests

Michael William Zdanowica Jr., 41,of Lenox Road, was arrested for a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon after a report of an argument at the gas pumps was made at 12:26 p.m. Monday on Howley Street.

Thomas Patrick Mcsorley Jr., 38, of Boston, was arrested for charges of inhaling glue/toxic substance, shoplifting by asportation, and three other department warrants, after a shift lead called and stated that a man was stealing from the back aisles and was also sniffing a cleaner in the back of the store. The incident occurred at 5:18 p.m. Monday at the Walgreens on Main Street. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a stolen motor vehicle was made at 2:13 a.m. Monday on Lowell Street. A caller reported that he was giving a ride to four juveniles and they stole his motor vehicle. A BOLO was put over the North District. A pursuit ensued but failed to stop the vehicle. The pursuit was determined and the motor vehicle was last seen on I-95 North in the area of exit 62. The state was notified and the vehicle was reported as stolen.

A report of a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles at 4:55 p.m. Monday in the vicinity of Oak Street and Foster Street. Multiple calls were made to 911 to report the accident. Injuries were reported, but both parties refused medical attention. Two vehicles were towed.

SAUGUS

Breaking and Entering

An individual walked into the station on Monday at 9:19 a.m.to report that his business had broken into on Spring Street.

A caller reported on Monday at 3:24 p.m. that her home was broken into and property was stolen on Lynn Fells Parkway.

Disturbance

A caller reported on Monday at 7:31 p.m. that juveniles were at the playground at Lynnhurst Elementary School at 10 Elm Street, throwing rocks into backyards. Juveniles left upon officer arrival.

Larceny

A caller reported on Monday at 4:24 p.m. that he watched two black men pull up to his neighbor’s home and take a package from the porch. The dispatched officer spoke with the reporting party and the neighbor. A BOLO was put out, with special attention to Lynn.

Motor Vehicles

A caller reported on Monday at 6:38 a.m. that multiple vehicles that she owned were broken into, with a purse and wallet with a large sum of money in it taken on Walden Avenue.

A caller reported on Monday at 10:53 a.m. that her vehicle was broken into and her purse taken on Sherbrook Terrace.

A call was received at 1:16 p.m. on Monday for a motor vehicle accident on the Southbound ramp at Broadway and Main Street. 2 patients transported to Whidden Hospital.

A call was received at 1:49 p.m. on Monday for a motor vehicle rollover with possible entrapment in the area of 321 Essex St. Fire Engine reported no entrapment, damage to 316 Essex St. and vehicle in its driveway. Occupant refused ambulatory services.

A caller reported on Monday at 4:05 p.m. that his vehicle was broken into the night prior on Walden Avenue.

Suspicious Activity

A caller reported on Tuesday at 4:48 a.m. that he had seen an individual in a moped rummaging around items on his property on Forest Street. Caller confronted the individual, who then fled to Oak Street in the direction of Adams Avenue. Officers dispatched to check the area, due to several previously reported vehicle break-ins the previous morning throughout town.

Suspicious Motor Vehicle

A caller reported a red Dodge Ram pickup truck on Monday at 5:50 p.m. that had been idling in the parking lot at 26 Winter St., reporting that one of the occupants got out and urinated in the parking lot. Dispatched officers unable to locate vehicles matching that description.

Shoplifting

An employee at the Autozone at 444 Broadway called on Monday at 5:06 p.m. to report that a heavy-set man with two full tattoo sleeves stole merchandise from the store and fled on foot down Route 1. Dispatched officers were unable to locate the man.
