Arrests

Jason Ortiz, 40, of Willow Street, was arrested for the charges of possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, and for the warrant charges of shoplifting by concealing more than $250, possession of Class B drug, and receiving less than $1,200 of stolen property at 9:11 p.m. Sunday.

Brailin Severino, 40, of Ocean Street, was arrested on the charges of second offense operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, alcohol from an open container, and leaving the scene of property damage at 1:06 a.m. Monday.

Tanya Viele, 44, of Grovers Avenue in Winthrop, was arrested on the warrant charges of possession of Class E drug and possession of Class C drug at 1:13 p.m. Sunday.

A summons was issued to Kleder Martins for operation of an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle after a motor vehicle accident at 12:53 p.m. on Northend Street.

SAUGUS

Motor Vehicles

Caller reported a single car motor vehicle accident with a motor vehicle into a light pole at 444 Broadway on Saturday at 7:59 p.m. AAA contacted to tow the vehicle. Ambulance refused.

Caller reported that they were involved in a motor vehicle accident at 229 Walnut St. on Sunday at 4:24 p.m., caller complained of leg pain. Ambulance refused.

Caller reported they were in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Vine and Essex Streets on Sunday at 5:40 p.m. Both motor vehicles were towed, a dispatched officer gave occupants of one of the motor vehicles a ride to Lynn.

Call transferred from State Police on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. regarding a two motor vehicle accident with injuries at the south on ramp of Walnut Street from Route 1. One individual was transferred via ambulance to Melrose Wakefield Hospital

Officer reported a single motor vehicle into a stop sign at Dunkin Donuts at 1204 Broadway on Sunday at 8:26 p.m. Vehicle towed.
